Emre Öztürk

The writer, who completed journalism education in Turkey and the UK, works in national and international media in foreign affairs and culture-arts fields.

She graduated from Yeditepe University, Faculty of Communication, Department of Journalism with a thesis titled “A Comparison of Media Laws in the USA, UK, and Turkey.”

She completed her master's degree at the University of East London with the thesis “Mainstream Media's Reactions and Transformations to 19th Century Social Movements in England.”

She began her journalism career in the Foreign News Department of Cumhuriyet Newspaper and continues to work as a foreign news correspondent in various branches of the national press. She also covers NBA news in national media.

She worked as a reporter for Olay Newspaper in the UK and also served as a foreign news correspondent for the BBC.

Her articles have been published in TR!P Science, Culture, and Art Magazine and in Turkey’s well-established Rock’n’Roll culture and music magazine Deli Kasap.
