Adam Greenfield

Adam Greenfield is an American author specializing in digital information technologies and urban design.

Adam Greenfield (USA, Pennsylvania, 1968 -); He worked as a rock music critic, a bicycle courier, and a psychological operations specialist in the US military.

He spent over a decade designing and developing network-based digital information technologies as the information architecture director at Razorfish’s Tokyo office, and as Independent User-Experience Designer and Head of Service and Interface Design at Nokia’s headquarters in Helsinki.

In 2013, he was selected as a Senior Urban Fellow at the LSE Cities center of the London School of Economics, and taught in the Urban Design Program at University College London (UCL) Bartlett School of Architecture and at New York University’s Interactive Telecommunications Program.

His published books include: Everyware (2006), Urban Computing and Its Discontents (2007), Against the Smart City (2013).
